1. Terms of Service

Welcome to Ostrolo. By accessing our website, using our services, or interacting with review request communication tools powered by us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

2. SMS Terms & Conditions

Mobile messaging program details:

  • Program Description: Ostrolo allows service businesses to request customer reviews and gather opt-in marketing consent. Communications may include transactional Google review requests, follow-ups, and business updates/reminders.
  • Opt-Out Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOPto the number sending you messages. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that business.
  • Help Instructions: If you need assistance, reply with HELP to receive instructions, or contact us at support@ostrolo.com.
  • Rates and Frequency: Message frequency varies. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
  • Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. User & Business Account Responsibilities

If you create an account on Ostrolo, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree that:

  • You will use the platform in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) and CAN-SPAM Act.
  • You will respect customer opt-out preferences and maintain correct customer data.
  • You will only send review requests and messages to customers with whom you have an established business relationship or who have provided appropriate consent.
  • Abuse of the system in any form (including spam, harassment, or unauthorized data harvesting) is strictly prohibited. If a customer or user abuses the system, their access will be permanently terminated for any activity outside the Ostrolo program.

4. Payment, Billing, and Subscriptions

Services are billed on a subscription basis using Stripe.

  • All fees are subject to change upon notice.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in the billing settings before the next cycle.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy or by contacting support.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, layouts, graphics, and code on the Ostrolo platform are the exclusive property of Ostrolo. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or reproduce any part of our platform without prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

Ostrolo is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ostrolo and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will post updates on this page and notify active businesses of major changes via email or system dashboard announcements.
